The purpose of this thread is to report any Bluetooth devices that YOU have gotten to work personally (or that you know for 100% positive, for sure, no doubts, no guessing, first hand, that work)... or that you definitely can't get to work. PLEASE DO NOT use this thread for dialog about the details, the trials and errors, etc.
Just identify the device you used, and whether it worked or not. It's OK to give a one liner on how it worked... noisy, clear, easy, hard, limitations, etc.
ALSO, if you report that something does NOT work, and you later get it to work... please come back and correct the original post if you can. This will make it easier for this list to be useful.
Example...
Acme Bluetooth Headset Model 1234567 - Works as designed, very clear
I can't dial with Toyota Prius Option Package #9 with Bluetooth but ... (thanks to jpmihalk... thankyouthankyouthankyou!) it does as of 11:57PM CDT work as handsfree whoopee!
Success:
Bluetooth ActiveSync with HP (Compaq) nx7000 Laptop
HP LaserJet 1200 Printer w/BT adapter
iPAQ BT Navigation System
Jabra BT200 Headset (see my entries in 6315 Bluetooth Woes for how to connect a Jabra BT200.
Motorola Car Kit (BT 98500/S9642) - Sort of. Can use it as a mic and speaker, but buttons don't activate voicedial features, etc.
- 6315 doesn't always reconnect or disconnect
Motorola Ear Bud (older models) - Works
Dock'n Talk from PhoneLabs.com - Doesn't work
- Does not see services
Upon first connection it appeared that my 6315 was not going to work with my Acura TL Handfree Link... But I found a way to make it work. This is how you do it...
Enter the normal pairing process and instead of selecting handfree or headset from the ipaq, go to the bluetooth manager and click tools... devices... click add device while in the pairing process on the Acura. It will find the Handfree Link with question mark. Select the acura.. put in your pin... name the phone and then you are set.
This is the trick...
If the phone does not show up on the TL at this point... click the talk key and say... "Next Phone"... it will say no phones have been detected.. and then a phone icon will show up on your display.
The way to make calls is to initiate them on the ipaq and then click the handfree icon in the title bar and then click continue this call using handsfree... The Acura Bluetooth link will think take over the call.
To recieve calls... Answer them on the ipaq, then repeat the steps above. Click the icon and select continue using handsfree.
Not as nice as it could be... but it sure beats not using it at all.
Sony Ericsson HBH-35 - seems to work for everything, making an answering calls, even when the device is asleep. If will also play sounds like Media Player, but it doesn't always do it for those... haven't figured out which it does, and which it doesn't. Very happy with it so far.
Able to pair HBH-60 with no problem. However the head set profile seems to remain in place even when the head set is out of range ( i.e on another floor). I had to turn off blue tooth and turn it back on to make it headset icon go away. The headset works well when paired.
My laptop with bluetooth card connects to h6315. laptop shows that h6315 has dial up networking profile and successfully connects to it. But it cant dial any number using this profile.
I would like to replace my t68i and dell axim x5 with bluetooth and wifi cf with 6315. But it looks like I cant use h6315 as wireless modem.
This is very serious to me. my t68i is almost 2 year old phone and it supports both ir/serial/bluetooth wireless modem connectivity with my ibm t41 laptop.
Now I am stuck. I cant through away my t68i. It is a fantastic phone.
Does anyone know how to connect h6315 with laptop using serial/bluetooth/ir and use it as a wireless modem?

XDA II supports this feature.
Thanks in advance,

Yes, the h6315 works as a wireless modem. There are a couple of threads about it and I have done it. It looks like you have searched and posted in the wireless modem thread already.
Bottom line - doesn't matter which com port you use as long as the phone sees it as a dial-up networking connection.
what do you mean by phone seeing the dial-up networking. Do you mean laptop sees the phone services as dial up networking.
But the when you try to specify the properties for the dial up networking then you need to specify which modem to connect.
Which one do you choose.
I see two modem, one that is built in and the other one is the for t68i that I created for connecting to t68i.
Now as I understand I need to create another modem. I go to the hardwrae wizard and create a modem. while creating the modem I need to specify the com port to connect. My question is which com should I choose?
can you look into you setting and let me know which com you use.
So far I use the serial port connected with phone.
