Good points:
1) it looks like its very well made, the proclip looks as is someone made them in their garage.
2) Its a compact design almost as compact as the proclip.
3) The swivel dosent add any extra size or weight to the the holster.
4) The swivel is tough to turn. some swivel locks are so weak i dont know why the call them locks.
5) It sets very well on the belt not to high or low. Some clips set to high and stick you in the side and some sit to low and bump every thing when you sit.
6) the side peices that hold the sides of the treo are the same as the proclips so I couldnt imagine how they could damage your phone as some one had reported. I never had any side damage with the proclip.
The bad:
1) It is just slightly bulkier than the proclip.
2) It takes 2 fingers to press the bottom of the seidio down to take the phone out, the proclip is secure but easier to take in and out.
The bottom part that holds the phone in is alittle over done, I dont know if since the plastic is thicker than proclips does that make it to inflexable, or does the bottom piece just wrap around the phone to far, you almost feel as if your going to break something off of your phone trying to get it in and out of the seidio holster. I thought about warming up the plastic and stretching it out a little. I like the holster and I guess its good for now but I will sell or give it to some one when the proclip comes out.
Heres the proclip http://store.treocentral.com/content...ularity-58.htm
heres my seidio clip with an arrow to the over done bottom. I give it one thumb up http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/mrjame.../ph//my_photos

Hi
Thank you very much for the feedbacks. We are updating our clip version (the one discussed here) to make it much easier to take Treo in and out.
Seidio also offers another type of Holster (cradle type) for Treo 650 which is very user friendly. It allows you to take Treo out from the top instead of from the bottom. It is very easy to take Treo in and out and also fully protect Treo 650.

how do you put the treo in that holster?
I know you put the bottom in first but do you then press the phone against the top of the holster to snap itself in place or do you press the heal of the hand against the top of the holster to allow the room to finish setting the phone in place?
And to take it out would you cock your hand almost upsidedown to press the top of the holster back with your index finger while sliding the phone out?
Or swivel the holster almost upside down to press the top of the holster off with the index finger? Or press the heel of the hand against the top of the holster?
That holster looks alittle bulkier than the one i bought and definitely smaller is better for me, but I notice that it seems to be totaly clear of the sd card so maybe it wont dislodge the card while taking the phone out of the clip. I got so tired of picking my sd card off the ground with the treo 600 after taking it out of my proclip that i ended up tapping it down. This seidio clip, the one i purchased http://store.treocentral.com/content.../4-24--155.htm
is angled just right at the top to avoid pressing the sd card down far enough to dislodge it. Its a shame about its difficulty. Only slightly difficult putting it in but taking it out is only bearable if there were no other holstrers on the market.

How come you guys dont make the cradle type holster for the Treo 600 also?? Give us a break, some of us Verizon customer dont have the 650 yet but we want to protect the 600's we do have.

Small Variety
I'm rather frustrated with the small variety of styles available.
No one makes a clip holster that the TREO faces OUTWARD.
My opinion:
Facing the TREO inward makes it unusable in the case/holster, other cases with swivel clips stick out off your waist "hi-fivin" corners and armwrests.
Personally I think most people using a device like this are paranoid about scratching the screen... I've had a Samsung I300, I330, and Treo600.... each of these I've had an outfacing case without incident of scratching the screen. That's over 3 years of use crawling around servers and desktops.
I would buy another Vaja, but ouch $115 bucks, and it still sitcks out.

I have the Seidio 650 as well. If they put the clip HIGHER UP on the phone it would have been (IMO) 100% better. Due to the size and the weight of the phone the clip (actually the phone) tilts forward off the belt due to it's location and center of gravity. Problem is, by doing that, you'd be unable to rotate it.

so when the phone spins 90 degrees the clip isnt sitting on the holster/phones center of balence ? More of the phone and weight are hanging off to one side?
